Wreckless: The Yakuza Missions
Wreckless: The Yakuza Missions (Double S.T.E.A.L. in Japan) is a 2002 racing video game originally release on the Xbox and later for GameCube and PlayStation 2. The game is a driving game set in Hong Kong, in which the player completes missions.
Moreover, the game's then-groundbreaking graphics for the Xbox made it successful for that platform. As it was specifically develop for that console rather than being a port. However, the GameCube and PlayStation 2 versions suffer from performance issues and did not sell well. But in 2005, a Japan-only sequel was release for the Xbox called Double S.T.E.A.L. The Second Clash.
Story
Set in Hong Kong, the player plays as either part of a corrupt police unit attempting to crack down on rival Yakuza operations. Or as a pair of spies hire to take down Tiger Takagi. The head of the Hong Kong Yakuza.
Description
It's summer in Hong Kong and the Mafia is out of control. Also Yakuza mobsters are engaging in territorial feuds and reckless high-speed chases throughout the city. Choose one of two roles, each with its own story line: an elite anti-Yakuza squad member taking on the vicious Mafia. Or a high-level secret agent trying to uncover corrupt ties between the Mafia and the police. And drive your way through 20 white-knuckle missions in fully interactive environments. So take the wheel. And take on the mob. Or take back the streets.
Reviews
